Shooting Features
Features That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously
Some shooting settings cannot be used in combination with other functions.

Flash mode
Continuous (A52)
When continuous is used for shooting, the
flash cannot be used.
Blink proof (A50)
When Blink proof is set to On, the flash
cannot be used.
Self-timer
Smile timer (A50)
When Smile timer is used for shooting, the
self-timer cannot be used.
AF area mode (A52)
When Subject tracking is used for
shooting, the self-timer cannot be used.
Macro mode AF area mode (A52)
When Subject tracking is used for
shooting, the macro mode cannot be used.
Image mode Continuous (A52)
When Multi-shot 16 is used for shooting,
the setting is fixed at L (image size:
2560×1920 pixels).
Continuous Self-timer (A56)
When using the self-timer, the setting is
fixed at Single.
ISO sensitivity Continuous (A52)
When Continuous L is used, 3200 of
ISO sensitivity cannot be used. If
Continuous L is selected when 3200 is
set, the setting is changed to 1600.
When Multi-shot 16 is used for
shooting, the ISO sensitivity is
automatically specified according to the
brightness.
Autofocus mode AF area mode (A52)
When Face priority is used for shooting,
Autofocus mode is fixed at Single AF.
Print date
Continuous (A52)
When Continuous H, Continuous L or
BSS is used for shooting, the print date
cannot be used.
Blink proof (A50)
When Blink proof is set to On for shooting,
the print date cannot be used.
Motion detection
Continuous (A52)
When Multi-shot 16 is used for shooting,
Motion detection is disabled.
ISO sensitivity (A52)
When the ISO sensitivity is fixed to a
setting other than Auto, Motion
detection is disabled.
