Shooting in the Auto Mode
In the A (auto) mode, you can set image mode, white balance, continuous
shooting and color options in the shooting menu, and take pictures.
1 Press the shooting mode button in shooting
mode.
The shooting-mode selection menu will be displayed.
2 Press the multi selector H or I to choose A
and press k.
• The camera enters A (auto) mode.
• Press d to select an option from the shooting menu.

3 Frame the subject and shoot.
B Available Functions in A (auto) Mode
In addition to the items in shooting menu, flash mode (A 26) can be changed and self-timer (A28),
macro mode (A29) and exposure compensation (A 30) can be applied.
