Select NEF (RAW) processing.
Highlight NEF (RAW) processing in the retouch
menu and press I_ to display a picture selection
dialog listing only NEF (RAW) images created with
this camera.
Select a photograph.
Highlight a photograph (to view the highlighted
photograph full frame, press and hold the
button; to view images in other locations as
described on page 164, hold BKT and press A).
Press _) to select the highlighted photograph.
Choose settings for the JPEG copy.
Adjust image quality (_ 85), image size (_ 88), white balance (_ 117; if Auto is
selected, white balance will be set to whichever of Normal and Keep warm
lighting colors was in effect when the picture was taken), exposure
compensation (_ 107), Picture Control (_ 131; note that the Picture Control
grid can not be displayed), high ISO noise reduction (_ 205), color space
(_ 141 ),and D-Lighting (_ 251). Note that white balance is not available with
multiple exposures or pictures created with image overlay and that exposure
compensation can only be set to values between -2 and +2 EV.

Copy the photograph.
Highlight EXE and press _) to create a JPEGcopy
of the selected photograph (to exit without
copying the photograph, press the MENUbutton).
