you are unable to take a second pic

disconnect

F4,
or
turn each of the
speedlights off and on once.
In
certain cases, due to static electricity or poorly loaded
batteries, the F4's microcomputer may turn the camera
off,
even
with fresh, prope
rl
y installed batteries.
For
th
e
same reason,
fi
lm may not
adva
n
ce
properly.
In
each
of
th
ese cases, to resume operation, simply turn
th
e power
OFF
and turn ON again,
or
remove
batteries and install
again.

open.

for some reason you need to release the shutter
with the camera back open, consult a Nikon service
facility. Also, be sure to set the shutter speed to 1/250
sec.
