Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu (

(Auto) Mode)
The following options can be set when shooting in A (auto) mode (A 22).
Displaying the Shooting Menu
Enter A (auto) mode (A 22).
Press the d button to display the shooting menu.
Use the multi selector to choose and apply settings (A 9).
To exit the shooting menu, press the d button.
B Camera Settings that Cannot Be Applied Simultaneously
Some functions cannot be enabled in conjunction with others (A49).
A Image mode A 37
Choose the image mode (combination of image size and compression rate) at which
pictures are recorded. The image mode setting can also be modified from other
shooting modes (except the movie mode).
B White balance A 39
Match white balance to the light source.

Enable continuous shooting or BSS (best shot selector).

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light.
