Telephoto/Wide-angle shooting T/W AUTO, P, A/S/M, , , or
To zoom in on a subject, press the Zoom lever towards T. To shoot a wider picture, press
the Zoom lever towards W. When DIGITAL ZOOM in the Menu is set to ON, 27x zoom is
available with the 2.7x digital zoom. (not available in the AUTO mode)
Close-up playback
Each time the Zoom lever is pressed toward T, the image is enlarged
1.5x, 2x, 2.5x or 3x. With Quick View, this function is also available.
When a picture is enlarged, ß/å/˙/¥ are displayed. Press the
arrow corresponding to the direction in which you want to view. The
enlarged picture is shifted in the desired direction, allowing you to
view a different portion of the image.
Index display
When the Zoom lever is pressed to W, it is possible to display
multiple pictures simultaneously (4, 9 or 16-frame). This is a
convenient way to compare your pictures and choose the best one.
With Quick View, this function is also available.
