*1GB = 1 billion bytes. 1MB = 1 million bytes. Usable capacity will be less. •The number of recordable pictures is an approximation. (These vary depending on the
recording conditions and the type of card.) •The number of recordable pictures depends on the subjects. • EZ: Extra Optical Zoom (with Live View only)
One World. Many Forms of
Beauty to Cherish Forever.
A project launched by Panasonic, OurPlace
Publishing Ltd., and UNESCO is aimed at preserving
the images of 380 World Heritage sites in 138
countries, so people generations from now can share
their beauty. All around the world, photographers
are already at work capturing images with LUMIX
digital cameras. Digital photography, with its ability
to reproduce detailed images with true-to-life colors
and no quality degradation, is ideal for preserving
memories. It is also a step toward creating a new
photographic culture for the digital age. There are
some things that humankind must preserve forever.
Panasonic and UNESCO are setting out to do exactly
that - with the OurPlace Project, which is being
managed by OurPlace Publishing Ltd.
Panasonic is backing OUR PLACE - The World’s Heritage,
a project that will create the largest ever photographic collection of
UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
