Using the function button
By assigning functions to the [Fn1], [Fn2] (function) button, you
can use [AF/AE LOCK] that allows you to take pictures with
fixed exposure or focus, [PREVIEW] that allows you to confirm
the effect of aperture and shutter speed, and other functions.
Set [DISP./Fn1] in [CUSTOM] menu to [Fn1], or [Q.MENU/Fn2] to
[Fn2]. (P56)
Select [Fn1] or [Fn2] from the [Fn BUTTON SET] in the [CUSTOM]
menu and press [MENU/SET].
Select the function you want to assign and press [MENU/SET].
Assign your favorite function to [Fn1] and [Fn2].
Exit the menu after it is set.
Note
Some functions cannot be used depending on the mode or displayed screen.
When set to [FOCUS AREA SET], it is possible to display the position setting screen of either
AF area or MF Assist.
