You can take pictures that are intentionally over exposed or
under exposed.

Press the four-way controller (̇̈)
in Capture mode.
Four-way controller (̇)
decreases the EV compensa-
tion to a negative (–) level
Four-way controller (̈)
increases the EV compensa-
tion to a positive (+) level
The set level is displayed on the LCD monitor.

̇ or ̈ one time, or set to ± 0, the set level dis-
played on the LCD monitor will go off after two seconds.
