You can take pictures that are intentionally overexposed or
underexposed.

Press the four-way controller

̇̈) in Capture mode.

increases the EV compensation
to a positive (+) level
Four-way controller (

decreases the EV
compensation to a negative (–)
level
The set level is displayed on the LCD monitor.
• If you press ̇ or ̈ one time, or set to ± 0, the set level
displayed on the LCD monitor will go off after two seconds.
