Taking Pictures

This mode lets you take movies at a delayed frame rate so that when you
play the movie back, the action appears speeded up.
4 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Time-lapse Movie].
5 Press the four-way controller
(5).
A pull-down menu appears.
6 Use the four-way controller (23)
to change the time-lapse setting.
You can choose from [Off], [×2], [×5], [×10], [x15] and [x30].
7 Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The camera is ready to record a time-lapse
movie.
When you set Movie anti-shake to On, you can compensate for camera
shake, which is more likely to occur while taking movies.
4 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Movie anti-shake].
5 Use the four-way controller (45)
to select O (On)/P (Off).
Taking Time-lapse Movies
• Off (×1) is the normal setting for movies (approximately 30 frames
per second). When ×2 or ×5 is selected, the number of frames
taken per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
• As movies are normally played back at the rate of approximately
30 frames per second, movies taken at ×2 appear to be played
back at twice the normal speed and movies taken at ×5 appear to
be played back at five times the normal speed.
• Sound cannot be recorded.
