• Setting Shutter Speed
Shutter priority is the ability to set the shutter speed over its full range
and have the camera calculate the best aperture to expose the image
correctly. When you set the shutter speed in the shutter speed-priority
mode, the camera automatically selects an aperture value to match the
brightness. Faster shutter speeds allow you to capture a moving subject
while slower speeds creates a moving effect and allow you to shoot
without a flash in dark areas. Use a tripod or similar device when using
slower shutter speeds.
