Playback
+ The Audio Dubbingfunction works only inPlayer Mode.
+ Youcannot dub sound on a pre-recordedtape inLP or 16 bitmode.
+ Youcan add sound to the original sound on a pre-recorded tape recordedin SP mode with 12bitsound.
+ Use the internal or an external microphone (notsupplied) or other audioequipment.
+ The originalsound will not be erased.
Dubbing Sound
1. Setthe Power switchto PLAYER.
• Ifyou want to use an external microphone, connectthe microphone to
the external MIC input jack on the Camcorder.

Setthe Mode switchto TAPE.
• When you wish to dub using the ExternalA/V input,connectthe Multi-AV
cable to the Multi-AVjack at the frontside of camcorder. (seeto page 75)
Pressthe I,/11(PLAY/STILL)button and find the time frame of the scene to
be dubbed.
Pressthe I,/11(PLAY/STILL)button to pause the scene.
Pressthe A.DUB button on the remote control.
• Audiodubbing (i':)icon will be displayed.
• The Camcorder is ready fordubbing.
6. Pressthe I,/11(PLAY/STILL)buttonto start dubbing.
7. Pressthe II(STOP) button to stop the dubbing.
[ Notes ]
• You cannot use the Audio dubbing function while playing a write protected video tape.
• To utilize an external MIC or sound source, connect a microphone to the MIC jack or use the AV cable to connect to
external sound source input.
To dub an external sound source, set the AV In/Out function to AV In. (see page 75).
