Advanced Recording Weiterführende Funktionen
✤ The MF/AF function works in CAMERA mode only.
✤ In most situations, it is better to use the automatic focus feature, as it
enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your recording.
✤ Manual focusing may be necessary under certain conditions that make
automatic focusing difficult and/or unreliable.
Auto Focusing
✤ If you are inexperienced in the use of camcorders, we
recommend that you make use of Auto Focus.
Manual Focusing
✤ In the following cases you may obtain better results
by adjusting the focus manually.
a. A picture containing several objects, some close to the
camcorder, others further away.
b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by snow.
c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
d. People or objects moving constantly or quickly like an
athlete or a crowd.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
2. Turn the MENU DIAL and select the FOCUS menu.
3. Press the ENTER button.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL up or down until the object is in
focus.

Zoom out a little if focusing is difficult.
5. To return to AF(Auto Focus: ), press the ENTER
button again.

✤ Die automatische oder manuelle Fokuseinstellung steht nur im
CAMERA-Modus zur Verfügung.
✤ Verwenden Sie vorzugsweise die automatische Fokuseinstellung, da Sie sich
dann besser auf die kreative Seite Ihrer Aufnahmen konzentrieren können.
✤ Bei bestimmten Bedingungen ist die automatische
Fokuseinstellung ungeeignet. In solchen Fällen
müssen Sie den Fokus manuell einstellen.
Automatische Fokuseinstellung
✤ Wenn Sie noch wenig Übung im Umgang mit dem
Camcorder haben, empfehlen wir die automatische
Fokuseinstellung.
Manuelle Fokuseinstellung
✤ In den folgenden Fällen können Sie bessere
Ergebnisse erzielen, wenn Sie den Fokus manuell
einstellen.
a. Ein Bild mit mehreren Objekten, von denen manche
sich näher am Camcorder befinden, während andere
weiter entfernt sind.
b. Eine Person im Nebel oder im Schnee.
c. Sehr helle oder glänzende Oberflächen, z. B. ein Auto.
d. Personen oder Objekte in ständiger oder schneller
Bewegung, z. B. Sportler oder eine Menschenmenge.
1. Stellen Sie den Betriebsmodus-Schalter auf
CAMERA.
2. Drehen Sie das Menü-Einstellrad und wählen Sie
das Menü FOCUS.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER.
4. Drehen Sie das Einstellrad nach oben oder nach
unten, bis das Motiv scharf abgebildet wird.

Wenn die manuelle Fokussierung schwierig ist,
zoomen Sie etwas aus und versuchen es erneut.
5. Wenn Sie zur automatischen Fokuseinstellung
AF ( ) zurückkehren möchten, drücken Sie erneut
die Taste ENTER.
