Number of still images and recording time of movies
The number of still images and the length of time for movies may vary depending on the
shooting conditions.
• For details on the image size, see page 19.
[ The approximate number of still images
(Units: Images)
• The number of images listed is for when [REC Mode] is set to [ ] (Normal).
• When the number of remaining shootable images is greater than 9,999, the “>9999” indicator appears.
• You can resize the images later ([ ] (Edit Image), page 27).
[ The approximate recording time of movies
(Units: hour : minute : second)
• The maximum recording time is two hours per one recording.
• When images recorded using earlier Sony models are played back on this camera, the display may differ
from the actual image size.
• When measuring media capacity, 1 GB equals 1 billion bytes, a portion of which is used for data
management.
• The size restriction of a movie is about 2 GB. When the size of a movie reaches 2 GB, the recording
automatically stops.
