Adjustments using the lens
The operations and operating methods available
depend on the lens attached. The following
operations are available with the lens supplied with
your camcorder.
Zoom ring
Turn the zoom ring right or left to decide on the size
of the subject in your image. Zooming must be
done before focusing.
Note
Do not grab or apply a strong force to the lens cylinder that
rolls out when zooming. The lens may be damaged.
Focusing ring
In the manual focus mode, turn the focusing ring
right or left to bring the subject into focus.
Zoom lock switch
This switch prevents the lens cylinder from being
extended by its own weight when it is being
transported, etc. Turn the zoom ring back toward
the W-end, and slide the switch toward V to lock it.
To unlock it, set the switch to the original position.
