“Memory Stick Duo”
The image is displayed
upside down.
The image recorded in mirror mode may be
displayed inverted by 180 degrees, depending on
the software you use.
pTo modify the inverted image, use the rotate tool of the software
you use.
The image is interrupted by
noise when you view a
movie on a computer.
You are playing back the movie directly from
the “Memory Stick Duo.”
pCopy the movie to the hard disk of your computer and then play
back the movie from the hard disk (pages 58, 59 and 65).
You cannot print an image.
pCheck the printer settings.
pClick on HELP for the “ImageMixer Ver.1.5 for Sony”
application software.
An error message appears
when you set the supplied
CD-ROM in your computer.
The computer display is not set correctly. pSet the computer display as follows:
Windows: 800 × 600 dots or more
High Color (16-bit color, 65,000 colors) or more
Macintosh: 800 × 600 dots or more
32,000-color or more

You are inserting the “Memory Stick Duo”
backwards.
The “Memory Stick Duo” has been inserted into
a Memory Stick Duo adaptor.
pInsert it from the right side (page 17).
pInsert it directly into the camera.
You cannot record on a
“Memory Stick Duo.”
You are using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a
write-protect switch, and the switch is set to
LOCK.
The “Memory Stick Duo” is full.
pSet it to the recording position (page 82).
pDelete unnecessary images (page 50).
You cannot format a
“Memory Stick Duo.”
You are using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a
write-protect switch, and the switch is set to
LOCK.
pSet it to the recording position (page 82).
You have formatted a
“Memory Stick Duo” by
mistake.
When you format a “Memory Stick Duo,” all
data in the “Memory Stick Duo,” including
images that were write-protected by another
device, will be permanently erased and cannot
be restored.
pWhen you are using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a write-protect
switch, we recommend that you set the write-protect switch to
LOCK to prevent accidental erasure (page 82).
