Features of the VC-12
This section explains the VC-12’s controls and connectors.
While your Valvetronix amp is in Manual
mode, the display appears as shown below
and the VC-12 functions the same as for
Effect On/Off mode.
3. TAP switch & LED
This switch is used to set the delay time. The
VC-12 measures the time between the last
two taps to calculate the delay time.
Note: This delay setting is lost when you
select another program or you turn off the
connected device. If you want to keep it, save
it on the connected device. See the relevant
manual for details.
4. TUNER switch & LEDs
This switch is used to turn the built-in tuner
on and off.
The central LED comes on when a string is in
tune. During tuning, the name of the note
currently being tuned is shown on the BANK
display. See “Using the Tuner” on page 9 for
details.
1. BANK UP/DOWN switches
These switches are used to select banks.
In Channel Select Mode and Effect On/Off
mode, pressing the UP switch selects the
next bank; pressing the DOWN switch selects
the previous bank.
While your Valvetronix amp is in Manual
mode, these switches do nothing. See your
amp’s manual for information on cancelling
Manual mode.
2. BANK display
In Channel Select Mode, the bank number is
displayed here.
In Effect On/Off mode, the display appears as
shown below.
When the tuner is on, the display appears as
shown below. The name of the note currently
being tuned is displayed.
