Tips on Taking Good Pictures
As you capture images with your color digital camera, it is helpful to keep the
following tips in mind:
• Think about how and where your image will be used and output.
Generally, it is best to use the high-resolution (Hi) setting for all your
images.
• When photographing outdoors, try to keep the sun behind you, illumi-
nating your subject.
• Hold the camera as steady as possible while the image is being cap-
tured (until the camera beeps).
• Always get as close as possible to your subject to reduce the amount
of extra image data your camera must process.
• As a general rule, use the Automatic flash mode to avoid underexpos-
ing your images.
