• Sounds are not played when you press the shutter button halfway or trigger
the self-timer (=

- The digest movie le size reaches approximately 4 GB, or the total recording
time reaches approximately 13 minutes and 20 seconds.
- The digest movie is protected (=

- Daylight saving time (=
15) or time zone (=
153) settings are changed.
- A new folder is created (=
158).
• Recorded shutter sounds cannot be modied or erased.
• Individual chapters can be edited (=
113).
• Images in the sub-window are reversed, like mirror images, and this is how the
image is recorded. If you prefer non-mirrored display and recording, choose
MENU (=
26) > [4] tab > [Set Story Cam.] > [Non-Mirrored].
• A scene icon is displayed (=
34). However, only icons for People, Shadows
on Face, Other Subjects, and At Close Range are displayed.
• An image stabilization icon is displayed (=

Digest Movie Playback
Display a still image shot in [ ] mode to play a digest movie, or specify the
date of the digest movie to play (=

Shooting Movies
Movies recorded when you press the movie button can include the
shooter’s reactions, as shown in the sub-window.
Still Images Movies
Moving and Resizing the Sub-window
You can move and resize the sub-window using touch operations.
1 Touch the sub-window
(=

The window outline changes from white
to orange.
2 Move the sub-window.
After lifting your nger, touch the sub-
window again and drag it to one of the
positions shown in light gray. Lift your
nger once the sub-window is in place.
3 Resize the sub-window.
When the sub-window is selected as in
step 1, you can touch the sub-window
repeatedly to cycle between small,
medium, and large.
After a while, the shooting screen is
displayed again.
• You can also move the sub-window by dragging it when the window outline
changes from white to orange after you touch it in step 1.
