Using the Battery/Charge Adapter Kit BCA-CP100 (Optional)
Keep the battery pack, charge adapter and terminals clean at all times. Dirty
terminals may cause a poor contact between the battery pack and printer. Polish
the terminals with a tissue or a dry cloth before charging or using the battery pack.

Remove the terminal cover.

Attach the battery pack to the
charge adapter.
• Attach it firmly in the direction of the
arrow.

Attach the AC cable to the
compact power adapter CA-
CP100 and plug it into a power
outlet.
• Charge the battery pack using the
compact power adapter supplied with
the printer.

Connect the compact power
adapter cable to the charge
adapter.
• The charge indicator lights in orange
while charging and in green once the
battery pack is fully charged.
• Detach the battery pack from the
charge adapter once charging is
complete.
