Continuous Mode
Use this mode to shoot successive frames while the shutter button is pressed fully.

Press the button.
Press the button several times to display
the
icon in the display panel. The icon will
also appear in the LCD monitor if it is on.
You can cancel the continuous mode by
pressing the
button until the
icon
disappears.

In the [ (Rec.)] menu, select [Cont.
Shooting].
See Selecting Menus and Settings (p. 35).

Select or and press the
button.

Press the shutter button halfway to
lock the focus.

Press the shutter button all the way to
shoot.
Shooting will cease when the shutter button is
released.
The shoot speed is approximately 1.5 frames /
second* in
mode and 2.5 frames/second*
in
mode.
* Large/Fine, LCD monitor off mode. (These figures
reflect standard Canon testing conditions. The actual
figures will vary according to the shooting conditions
and settings.)
Use this mode to view the images as you shoot continuously. The shutter interval is longer in this mode
than the mode.
Use this mode to shoot continuously with a short shutter interval. The camera’s internal memory will
become full faster in this mode than the mode when many frames are shot or when high image
quality settings are selected.
