Manual Trapezoid Correction
Exiting the Business Shot mode causes auto trapezoid
correction to turn off automatically. You can, however,
perform manual trapezoid correction in other modes. When
performing manual trapezoid correction, you can crop the
area of the image you want to correct.
To perform manual trapezoid correction
1.
In the PLAY mode, display the image for
which you want to perform trapezoid
correction.
2.
Press [MENU].
3.
On the PLAY tab, select Keystone, and
then press [̈].
This displays a screen showing the available
candidate boundaries like the one shown below.
4.
Press the zoom button to select the selection
boundary you want to use.
The above step is not necessary if there is only one
candidate boundary on the display.
5.
Use [̆] and [̄] to select Correct, and then
press [SET].
IMPORTANT!
The icon appears on the display to indicate that
the currently displayed image is a corrected image.
Note that trapezoid correction corrects the displayed
image only. It does not affect the original source
image file.
You can save the corrected version of the image as
a separate file. For details, see Saving the
Corrected Version of an Image (page 90).
