The Shooting Menu
Choose the size and aspect ratio at which still pic-
tures are recorded. Large pictures can be printed
at large sizes with no drop in quality; small pic-
tures require less memory, allowing more pictures
to be recorded.

Aspect Ratio
Pictures with an aspect ratio of 4 : 3 have the same
proportions as the central display area of the camera
monitor, while an aspect ratio of 16 : 9 is suited to dis-
play on High De nition (HD) devices.
