[SHOOTING MENU]
When pressing the shutter button down halfway, the
camera recognizes any strongly contrasting subject near
the center of the LCD monitor and displays the AF frame
over subject in focus.
CAUTION
When taking pictures in Macro mode, the camera focuses
on the center of the screen.
MEMO
When the AF frame does not appear in the focusing
position, select [ CENTER] in the [AF MODE] and use
AF/AE lock (➝p.35).
Use this setting to take pictures of a moving subject.
The camera continues to focus on the main subject in the
AF frame.
CAUTION
When using [ CONTINUOUS], attention must be given
to the battery level.
The battery level (power consumption) increases when
using [ CONTINUOUS]. Because the camera focuses
continuously without pressing the shutter button.
