Using the Menus: Shooting Mode
A Notes
• FINEPIX COLOR is not reset when the camera is
turned off or another shooting mode is selected.
• Depending on the subject, the effects of
Mv-CHROME may not be visible in the monitor.

WHITE BALANCE
For natural colors, choose a setting that matches
the light source (for an explanation of “white
balance,” see the Glossary on page 100).

If AUTO does not produce the desired results
(for example, when taking close-ups), choose the
option that matches the light source.
A Note
Results vary with shooting conditions. Play pictures
back after shooting to check colors in the monitor.

CONTINUOUS
Capture motion in a series of pictures. The
camera takes up to three pictures while the
shutter-release button is pressed.

• Frame rate varies with shutter speed.
• Focus and exposure are determined by the first
frame in each series.
• The number of pictures that can
be recorded depends on the
memory available. Additional
time may be required to record
pictures when shooting ends.
The pictures are displayed in the
monitor while recording is in progress.
