Using the flash
NOTE The flash does not work while recording video clips.
Tochange the flash setting, pressthe Flash _. button on the top
of the camera until the desired setting appears on the Status
LCD. tf LiveView is on, the icon also appears in the Image
Display.
iThe camera measuresthe available light
and fires theflash if necessary.This is the
_idefault setting.
FIGshOn i_tcamera always fires the flash. If the
is behind your subject, usethis setting
ito increase the light on thefront of your
subject. This iscalled "fill-flash".

iThecamera fires the flash to illuminate

icamera steadyto preventblurry images. For
NOTE Thecamera remains in thecurrent flash setting until you
