Troubleshooting and Support
My image is
too bright.
The flash
provided too
much light.
Turn the flash off (see
page 32).
Move back from the subject.
You used EV
Compensation
when you
should not have.
Set EV Compensation to 0.0
(see
page 44).
A natural or
artificial source
other than the
flash provided
too much light.
Try taking the picture from a
different angle.
Avoid pointing the camera
directly toward a bright light
or reflective surface on a
sunny day.
Decrease EV Compensation
(see
page 44).
The scene had
many dark
objects, such as
a black object
on a dark
background.
Decrease the EV Compensation
(see
page 44).
The Display
Brightness
needs to be
adjusted.
Set the Display Brightness in
the Setup Menu to Low or
Medium (see page 66).
