Camera Mounting - Standard Camera Bracket
Mounting your camera on the camera brackets
For the Standard Camera Bracket,
shown at right, select the ap pro pri ate
slot in the brack et that will best lo cate
the tri pod mounting thread on your
particular camera. You may need to re-
po si tion the camera knob to another
slot in or der to achieve this. To re-
move the knob sim ply slide the knob
along the slot to the end that has the
thread ed hole. Care ful ly un screw the
knob out of the thread ed hole, be ing
care ful not to crossthread the knob.
Re place the knob into the ap pro pri ate
slot by re vers ing the procedure.
In stall the knob into the ap pro pri ate
slot then into the tri pod mounting
hole of your cam era. Don’t wor ry
about get ting the cam era lev el at this
time, as this is a task you’ll need to do
when you’re ready to shoot.
The left-right adjustment to center
your lens over the pivot point is ac-
com plished by loosening the clamp
lever and sliding the camera bracket
in and out of the slider. Be sure to
tight en the clamp lever to lock the
brack et in place.
The fore-aft adjustment is made by
loos en ing the solver knob on the
slider and then moving the entire as-
sem bly along the arm of the Rotator
Base.
There are cam era ad just ment shoes
and lugs (shown at left) to help lo cate
your cam era on the bracket and to
help po si tion the cam era along the
slot. These de vic es will also make it
easy to re move and re place your cam-
era when you use it for other tasks.
Note: You can also mount the optional
Quick Release Plate onto the Standard
Camera Bracket.
Note: To loosen the clamp lever
grab the lever and turn clockwise
to tighten and counterclockwise to
loosen. The lever part of the clamp
lever is spring-loaded and can be
repositioned by pulling outwards
against the spring pressure and
moved clockwise or counterclock-
wise.
