Computer/connectivity problems
You cannot take a
picture or video
■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
■ Press the Shutter button all the way (page 8).
■ Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or insert a new
one (page 2).
■ Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer (page 36), delete
pictures from the camera (page 24), switch image storage
locations (page 19), or insert a card with available
memory (page 7).
Picture orientation is
not accurate
■ Set the Orientation Sensor (page 20).
Flash does not fire
■ Check flash setting, and change as needed (page 14).
Battery life is short
■ Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one (page 2).
Camera displays an
error code
■ Press the Shutter button all the way (page 8).
■ Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery fully (page 2).
■ Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer (page 36), delete
pictures from the camera (page 24), switch image storage
locations (page 19), or insert a card with available
memory (page 7).
