Nikon D100 Digital Camera User Manual

Image Control helps ensure faithful colour reproduction — automati-
cally. Nikon’s acclaimed Five-Area Dynamic Autofocus, D-TTL flash con-
trol, TTL Auto White Balance control, three colour modes and other features
provide what you need to capture great pictures.
And here’s where the Nikon digital SLR difference really shines — in
postproduction workflow. The supplied Nikon View 5 and optional Nikon
Capture 3 software give you the tools to help bring your vision to reality. After
shooting an image in NEF (Nikon Electronic File) RAW file format, for example,
you can use Capture 3 to fine-tune white balance, exposure, saturation, hue and
other settings — with control that excels.
Choose the Nikon D100 for its combination of precision features, smooth
performance, elegantly creative control and also for its key position in the
Nikon Total Imaging System.
* The D100 is the world’s lightest 6-megapixel-class digital SLR camera (as of May 1, 2002).
