Using Shooting Functions
Option Description
FLASH AUTO
The ash res automatically in
low-light or backlight conditions.
REDEYE
Pre- ashes are emitted to reduce
the occurrence of red eye in your
photos.
FILL IN
The ash res regardless of the
available light.
FLASH OFF The ash does not re.
Shooting closeups
(Macro shooting)
This function enables the camera to focus and
shoot subjects at close distances.

Select the macro option in the
shooting function menu.

Using the ash
The ash functions can be selected to best
match the shooting conditions.

Lift the ash knob to ip up the
built-in ash.
Flash knob
The ash settings cannot be adjusted with
the ash closed.
To turn off the ash
Press the ash down back into the camera.
This sets to $ (FLASH OFF) mode.
