CAUTION
Before loading, always inspect the battery carefully for leaks, discoloration,
warping, or any other abnormality.
The battery may become hot during prolonged use. To avoid minor burns, do not
remove it immediately after using the camera.
Always unload the battery from the camera before storing the camera for a long
period.
This camera is weatherproof, but it cannot be used underwater.
Olympus will not assume any responsibility for malfunction of the camera
caused by water getting inside as a result of misuse by the user.
The camera is weatherproof and is not damaged by water spray from any
direction.
Observe the following precautions when using the camera.
Water may get inside the camera if the battery compartment/
connector cover or card cover are not firmly closed.
Weatherproof feature
Do not wash the
camera with water.
Do not drop the
camera into water.
Do not take pictures
underwater.
Card cover
If the camera gets splashed, wipe the water off as soon as possible with a
dry cloth.
The rechargeable battery and other camera accessories are not
weatherproof.
