Initial Settings
The first time the camera is turned on, the [
Language/
u
] screen appears
on the monitor. Follow the procedure below to set the language displayed on
the monitor and the current date and time. Once these settings are made,
you will not need to set them again next time you turn on your camera.
If the [Date Adjustment] screen appears, set
the date and time by following the procedure
in “Setting the Date and Time” (p.52).
You can set the language in which the menus, error messages, etc. are
displayed.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the desired
language, and press the 4 button.
The [Initial Setting] screen appears in the
selected language.
Proceed to Step 6 if W (Hometown) does
not have to be changed.

Press the four-way controller (3) to move the frame to W,
and press the four-way controller (5).
The [W Hometown] screen appears.
