Precautions for Your Flash Unit
lNever use organic solvents such as paint thinner, alcohol
or benzene to clean the flash unit.
lAvoid leaving the flash unit for extended periods in places
where the humidity and temperature may be very high
such as in a car.
lBe careful not to subject the flash unit to strong vibrations,
shock or pressure. Use a cushion to protect the flash unit
when carrying it in a motorcycle, car, boat, etc.
lDo not use the flash unit where it may be directly exposed
to rain, water, etc.
lReplace all the batteries at the same time. Do not mix
battery brands, type or an old battery with a new one.
It may cause explosion or overheating.
lWhen using the flash unit off the camera, do not try to
attach any metallic object to the electric contacts or to
mount incompatible accessories. Otherwise, the TTL auto
mechanism may be damaged or rendered inoperable.
lDo not attach any accessories having either fewer or
different electrical contacts (layout other than PENTAX
standard) for the hot shoe or grip. Otherwise, some
functions may not work properly.

lEvite dejar el flash durante períodos prolongados de tiempo

lNo utilice el flash en lugares donde pueda estar expuesto

Cambie todas las pilas al mismo tiempo. No mezcle distintas
marcas o tipos de pilas o una nueva con otra más antigua.
Podría causar explosiones o recalentamiento.
lCuando utilice el flash desmontado de la cámara, no intente
colocar ningún objeto metálico en los contactos eléctricos
ni montar accesorios incompatibles. De hacerlo, el mecanismo
automático TTL podría sufrir daños o quedar inoperable.
lNo instale accesorios que tengan menos o diferentes
contactos eléctricos (disposición distinta de la estándar
de PENTAX) para la zapata de accesorios o el soporte.
De hacerlo, ciertas funciones podrían no funcionar
correctamente.
