PENTAX has greatly improved the menu displays in the K200D. The new scrolling
menus oer you a complete description of each menu item and the function it pro-
vides, while an enlarged letter option allows you to boost the font or letter size by 50
percent vertically for easy viewing.
Custom Functions
The K200D oers 23 custom options with 52 settings that allow you to adjust how
your camera functions. As you learn more about the camera and the way you like to
take pictures, the camera will adjust to meet your needs.
Power Supply
With a set of Energizer® Lithium batteries included with every K200D, you are assured long
battery life – up to 1,100 images. Since AA batteries are easy to purchase almost
anywhere, you can keep on shooting even in the most remote locations.
To extend your shooting time even further, the BG-3 battery grip takes an
additional four AA cells, ensuring optimal performance of the K200D
camera. The battery grip features an additional shutter release,
particularly practical if shooting vertically. With proven PENTAX
ergonomics the camera ts reliably and comfortably in the hand.
Customization Form and Function
The body of the K200D is designed so that every button and dial is in easy reach. This makes
shooting a simple, intuitive operation. However, the camera does not sacrice in areas of
