To take a photo
1 Turn on the camera (a).
2 To use the LCD display, slide the LCD switch up and
release (b).
Note: To change the camera settings see “Changing
Camera Settings” on page 13.
3 Frame the subjects of your photo in the optical
viewfinder (c) or in the LCD display.
4 Press the shutter button (d) halfway to focus the camera
and measure the light level. The camera is ready to take
a photo when the green LED indicator lights (e). Press
the shutter button all the way down to take the photo.
The red Wait indicator light (f) is on and the image
displays on the LCD display. Wait until the light is off
before you take another photo.
If the Quick Review setting is on, you can review and
delete an image immediately after you take it (see
“Advanced Menu” on page 19).
