Symptom
The camera does not shoot after
pressing the shutter button.
Images do not appear on the LCD
monitor.
The camera does not focus.

Cause
The battery is running low.
The power is not turned on.

The auto power off function is activated.
Power is not turned on.
The lens is dirty.
The distance to the subject is larger
than the effective range.

Solution
Recharge or use the AC adapter.
Slide the lens cover off to turn on the camera.
Toggle the MODE button to shooting mode.
Press the shutter button firmly.
Load a new card, or delete unwanted files.
Load a new memory card.
Wait until the flash completes recharging.
Format the memory card in this camera
before its first use or when it was used
by other camera.
Turn power on again.
Turn power on.
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth or lens paper.
Get your subject within the effective
focus range.
Switch to another mode other than
one of those.
Set the flash to auto flash.
Get closer to your subject and shoot.
