Nothing beats shooting images from the perspective of your subject;
you may well need the Backlight Scene mode when undercover.
From kids on carousels, to candyloss
and clowns, fairs are fun, colourful and
photographically rewarding. The Children
Scene mode is ideal for all things kids, but
you may want to shoot abstracts of colourful
slides with a telephoto lens, Fill-in lash
portraits at the stalls or use the Night mode
– while supporting your camera – for long
exposure light trails as the sun heads south.
To make even more of the colours, select
the Vivid Picture Wizard mode and increase
the saturation. And there is nothing like a HD
movie of the family getting a soaking on the
log lume or racing go-karts – you may need
to add your telephoto zoom lens.
Capture the laughter, cuddly toys and candyloss – and
come back home with memory cards full of smiles...
FUNFAIRS
The Vivid Picture Wizard
mode can be used to boost
the bright colours of a
funfair even brighter.
If your images are coming out too dark, turn on the lash to give you
extra light and freeze the action.
