Taking photos with the front display
Using the Children mode
In this mode, you can draw children’s attention to the camera by
showing a short animation on the front display.
In Shooting mode, press [

Front LCD] three times.
An animation will play.t
Align your subject in the frame and half-press [

Shutter].
Press [

Shutter] to take the photo.

You can set the camera to automatically release the shutter when it t
detects a smiling face while using the Children mode. (p. 80)
Using the Couple mode
This mode detects two subjects leaning in toward each other and
automatically captures images of posing couples.
In Shooting mode, press [

Front LCD] twice.
The white frame means that the faces are recognized.t
The green frame means that the faces are in focus when you t
half-press [Shutter].
Lean in toward each other in the frame.

The camera will detect two faces of the subjects at the same distance t
from the camera.
The camera may not detect the composition depending on the pose t
of couples.
