To make the menu display disappear
Press MENU.
Menu items are displayed as the following

Meaning
If you set to OFF, digital zoom is deactivated and up to
20× is carried out.
If you set to ON, digital zoom is activated and more
than 20× to 40× is performed digitally. (p. 23)

If you set to 40×/80×, digital zoom is activated and
