Viewfinder
When the LCD
panel is closed, pull
out the viewfinder
until it clicks. Use
the viewfinder
placing your eye
against its eyecup.

NOTE
Do not pick up your camcorder by
holding the viewfinder, the LCD
panel or the battery pack.
1Set the POWER switch to VTR while
pressing the small green button.
3Press of the touch panel to
rewind the tape.
4Press of the touch panel to
start playback.
NOTE
When using the touch panel, press
operation buttons lightly with your
thumb supporting the LCD screen from
the backside of it. Do not press the LCD
screen with sharp-pointed objects such
as pens.
2Set the START/STOP MODE

1Remove the lens cap.
3Set the POWER switch to CAMERA
while pressing the small green
button. The power lamp lights up.

starts recording. To stop recording,
