●Battery Level Indicator
You can check the battery level by the symbol displayed on
the LCD monitor.
(lit green) : Adequate power remains.
↓
(lit green) : Battery is running low.
↓
(lit yellow) : Battery is running very low.
↓
(lit red) : Battery is exhausted.
↓
[Battery depleted] : After the message is displayed, the camera
will turn off.
Using the AC Adapter (optional)
If you intend to use the LCD monitor for a long time or connect the
camera to a PC, use of the AC adapter D-AC2 (optional) is recom-
mended.
z Connect the AC plug cord to the AC adapter.
x Plug the AC plug cord into the power outlet.
c Open the terminal cover of your camera and connect the
AC adapter to the DC input terminal.
When using the AC adapter, the battery level indicator is not dis-
played on the LCD monitor.
• Make sure that the camera is turned off before connecting
the AC adapter.
• When using the AC adapter D-AC2, be sure to read the
operation manual accompanying the AC adapter.
