Preferred access point to select another access point. Normally the access point from your preferred
network operator is to be used.
Connect to service provider support to download the configuration settings from your service provider.
Enter the settings manually
To enter, view, and edit the settings manually, select Menu > Settings > Configuration settings > Personal
configuration settings.
To add a new configuration, select Add new or select Options > Add new. Choose one of the application types
from the list, and enter all the necessary settings. To activate the settings, select Options > Activate.
To view or to edit the user-defined settings, select the application that you want to view, and select the setting
to edit.
Security settings
When security features that restrict calls are in use, such as call barring, closed user group and fixed dialing calls still may be
possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.
Select Menu > Settings > Security settings.
PIN code request to set the phone to request your PIN code every time the phone is switched on. Some SIM
cards do not allow the PIN code request to be turned off.
Call barring service (network service) to restrict incoming calls to and outgoing calls from your phone. A
barring password is required.
Call barring and call diverting cannot be active at the same time.
When calls are barred, calls still may be possible to certain official emergency numbers.
Fixed dialling to restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers if this function is supported by your
SIM card.
When fixed dialing is activated, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed
into your device.
