◗ If the camera is connected to a computer (LED next to lens is blinking), it only appears to
have no power. The camera can be controlled only from the computer.
◗ The batteries may be too weak. Replace them.
◗ If you are using the optional AC adapter, make sure it is securely plugged into a working
outlet.
The shutter button doesn’t work.
◗ The camera may still be saving the previous picture. Wait for the live image to appear on
the LCD screen.
◗ The camera may be in PLAY mode. Turn the Mode switch to REC.
◗ The memory card may be full. Press the Info button. If the card is full, the number fol-
lowing the ł symbol is 0. You must download the images to your computer, delete some
or all of the images or insert another memory card.
◗ The memory card may not have room left for an image at the currently selected resolu-
tion. You can lower the resolution, download the images to your computer, delete some
or all of the images or insert another memory card.
◗ If the camera is connected to your computer, you can use only the control functions in
PhotoWise to operate your camera (see the .pdf file

or on-line help in
PhotoWise itself).
