Memory Card Operations
About the LCD screen
The LCD screen is produced with extremely high-precision manufacturing techniques, with more than 99.99%
of the pixels operating to specification. Less than 0.01% of the pixels may occasionally misfire or appear as
black, red, green or blue dots. This has no effect on the recorded image and does not constitute a
malfunction.
Problem Cause Solution
A vertical light bar appears on the
screen.
Bright light in a dark scene may
cause a vertical light bar (smear) to
appear. This is not a malfunction.
Record in the Av mode with F5.6–
F8.0.

Viewfinder picture is blurred. Viewfinder is not adjusted. Adjust the viewfinder with the
dioptric adjustment lever.

Audio is not recorded. The input channel selection switch is
not set to the correct position.
Set the input channel selection
switch to the correct position.

Even though you are using the built-
in microphone, [XLR INPUT] is set to
[ON XLR].
