stored by pressing the shutter button

AUTO POWER OFF
Choose the length of time before the camera
turns off automatically when no operations are
performed. Shorter times increase battery life; if
OFF is selected, the camera must be turned off
manually. Note that regardless of the option se-
lected, the camera will not turn off automatically
when connected to a printer (P 63) or computer
(P 71) or when a slide show is in progress (P 86).
2 Reactivating the Camera
To reactivate the camera after it has turned off auto-
matically, use the G switch or press the a but-
ton for about a second (P 14).
