_posure Compensation
To adjust exposure compensation when photo-
graphing very bright, very dark, or high-contrast
subjects, press the selector up (1_). Pressthe selec-
tor up or down to choose an exposure compensa-
tion value and then press MENU/OIl.
Choose positive (+) volues
to increose exposure
Choose negotive () volues
to reduce exposure
A [] icon and exposure indicator aredisplayed at settings other than ±0. Exposure
compensation is not resetwhen the camera isturned off; to restore normal expo-
surecontrol, choose avalue of ±0.
Turn the flash offwhen using exposure compensation.
Exposure compensation is available only when P (PROGRAMAE) is selected for
shooting mode.
