SETUP MODE
5) At <Screen4-3>, by pressing (Left arrow button) or (Right arrow button), the
detection timing can be selected.
6) Press (Enter button) and make the setting valid.
Press (EXIT button) at <Screen4-1>, <Screen4-2> or <Screen4-3>, then the LCD
display changes to <Screen4>. Press (EXIT button) again and the LCD display
goes back to [Ready] screen.
(1) [Pick] is blinking: Double-feed is checked at the document pick tim-
ing.
(2) [Pick & Feed] is blinking: Double-feed is checked at the document pick tim-
ing and during feeding.
ATTENTION
- Double-feed detection accuracy increases when
both thickness and length of documents are
checked.
ATTENTION
- When double-feed is detected and scanning
operation is stopped, documents in the hopper
or the one ahead of it might have been double
fed.
ATTENTION
- Depending on the document type, there are
cases when double-feed can not be detected.
