The camera
does not turn
on.
The batteries
are not
functioning
correctly or are
missing.
Use only photo-quality AA
lithium, alkaline, or
NiMH batteries.
Ensure the batteries are inserted
correctly.
The charge in the batteries can
be low or completely drained.
Try installing new or recharged
batteries.
The HP AC
adapter is
connected to
the camera,
but it is not
connected to a
power outlet.
If you want to use battery power,
disconnect the HP AC adapter
from the camera. If you want to
use AC power, connect the HP
AC adapter to a working
electrical outlet.
The HP AC
adapter is not
functioning
correctly.
Ensure that the HP AC adapter is
not damaged or defective and is
plugged into an electrical outlet
with power.
